NewEgg Customer Service

I know a couple of you buy things from NewEgg from time to time. I've been a customer of theirs for years, and I'd like to share an experience I had that will keep me a customer for years to come. I bought three memory cards from them about two weeks back... a 1GB micro SD card and two 512Mb regular SD cards. The two 512's worked without issue, but i didn't have a device handy to test the micro sd card... at least, I didn't think I did. Well, I remembered that my printer had an SD slot, my PDA has an SD slot and so does the wii. I tried it (in the adapter) in all three yesterday and all three gave a card access error.

Enter customer support. I read NewEgg's website which indicated that to get an RMA you had to have all the original packaging. I was pretty sure I had lost it. NewEgg doesn't have any telephone support on saturdays, but they do have a LiveChat feature. I connected up, and in about five minutes a customer service representative had created a new SO to overnight me a new 1GB card on Monday, and told me to throw out the old card.

I'm thrilled with their customer service. I had always heard they were terrific for this kind of thing, but I really expected to have a problem, and rightly so since I had not followed the RMA rules they defined. I was (and still am) so happy about this... I just had to share.

This is almost getting to the point that this is a mouse review site or something... seriously, I must

I'm not above accepting donations to get a new laptop.
